Server Quest is a Microsoft web-based adventure and marketing game in which you play an office uber-geek who has to complete adventures and answer questions to get geek points. At various points along the way, Microsoft services and technologies are highlighted, such as TechNet Plus, and opportunities to retake Microsoft certification exams for free. For example, at one point during the game, a colleague says to you: "I'm going to take your job, I just failed my certification exam but I get to take it again for free thanks to Microsoft second chance." I'm sure you'll be quaking in your boots about your job security because of someone who openly admits he can't pass exams. Figure 1 is a screen shot of the game in action.
