Who Loves Ya Baby?

Here in Loveland, Colorado (the hometown of Windows IT Pro and, apparently, love), Valentine's Day is a pretty big deal. Huge wooden hearts hang from the street lights professing citizens' undying love for their beloved. The town even hosts a national "Valentine Re-Mailing Program," in which people from all over the country send in their valentines to be stamped with a special lovey-dovey verse and sent on to their respective sweetie pies. (I'm not making this up.)

I can't say that I share Loveland's excitement for February 14th. I think Valentine's Day is so commercialized that it more exploits love than expresses it--serving as just a day that greeting-card companies can make a buck off of the lovesick. And no candy heart–induced sugar high can make me think differently. So this month, needless to say, I'm not really interested in who you love. Instead, I want to focus on what you love.
